yes, we've got one in the office and someone has looked at the impact of each appliance and colour coded them by how energy efficient they are. A bit like the stickers you get on whitegoods in the UK, A, B, C etc.
Nice idea as it does get you thinking each time you turn something on.
Its also interesting to see how much additional energy an old PC uses compared to a new one.

We have looked at our forecasted 12 month carbon output (5000 tons!!) and determined to offset it by some means. Perhaps financial but perhaps not.
We could accept that we WILL produce this amount and then pay to feel less guilty, or we could focus on REDUCING this amount over the next 12 months.
The latter approach is my preference but i'll let you know what the powers that be decide.

Great tool. I have been dreading the upgrade from the previous version of office as I am a heavy Excel user, and the first time I saw the new interface I couldn't find anything!

Hopefully this will ease me into the new 2007 UI without having to randomly click on menus to find the command I am missing.

so true!

If I looked at my financial model 100 times over the course of a day I would make over 100 changes for sure.
It never ends, when is a forecast complete??

One thing I know for sure is that a forecast will never be 100% accurate
